NCP Bathroom Centres Rebranding Campaign

For more than 50 years the name North Coast Plumbing was synonymous with plumbing supplies on the Sunshine Coast. But the market was changing, with people spending more and more money on their bathrooms and expecting a European level of style and design from their Bathroom Supplier. North Coast Plumbing briefed Advanti Advertising to come up with a new name, logo and advertising theme for the business to make it more retail, more female friendly and more representative of a 21st century audience’s expectations.

We created the name NCP Bathroom Centres and did a strategic review of what the brand offered its various target audiences. From this came the new positioning Statement ‘Time For You’, highlighting that the bathroom has become a place to escape to, as well as the low-pressure sales environment NCP provides. Advanti developed a new logo, signage, stationery, press advertising, a website, a jingle, corporate and product television commercials and radio commercials promoting the new brand and positioning.

The launch proved very successful for the new NCP Bathroom Centres, and the Time For You campaign theme is still running successfully several years later. Marketing Manager Tracy Wilkins said, “The rebranding of North Coast Plumbing to NCP Bathroom Centres has been a major exercise and we would like to thank Advanti Advertising for your months of hard work.
